THIS IS JUST THE START FOR STACEY

Sadly, Stacey Solomon won’t have a number one hit this Christmas. But, despite her 11th hour exit, she’s still our number one. And she’s surely destined for stardom. Just what does the future hold for the Dagenham diva? We predict great things. We haven't heard the last of this delightful young lady.

This is just the start for Stacey

Yes, because... Yes, she's good looking, talented and grabbed the golden ring of fame at just 19

She is undoubtedly destined for fame (because she already has it) and 'Simon Cowell' is nice to her.

I like Lucie Jones better than Stacey. Cowell is nice to everyone on British shows.[1]

Yes, because... No point: She’s shallow, and people grow weary of what is not deep

Stacey's personality is very sweet and genuine, despite not being the sharpest tool in the box. If you look at Jade Goody and Chantelle, they always had an certain nastiness about them as well. Plus those two examples had zero talent. It's extremely unfair to compare Stacey to them.

Stacey is a particularly excellent singer but isn't as beige in personality as Leona or Alexandra. Leona Lewis could not be more dull. Stacey's got a lovely bluesy sound to her voice, and we haven't had a young diva like her in ages. She worked so well singing with Michael Buble. I can't wait to hear her album.

There is no intrinsic depth to Stacey Soloman. Her shrill voice when talking gets irritating and she has no personality other than playing the stupid card. The British public tend to find this sort of quality endearing at first, but they do grow weary of it. We saw this behaviour leading to success with people such as Jade Goody and Chantelle from Celebrity Big Brother – and their fame was short lived and unfruitful. Hopefully, to save the patience of a nation, Stacy’s career will be equally as short.

Yes, because... She won the nation over

Stacey was guileless, an innocent in the style of Jade Goody but with actual talent this time. She may not have won the X Factor but she won a lot of fans and will surely have a long career making the kinds of records that cheer the, probably sadly, middle-aged amongst us.

The nation's old people are not the entire nation,(hardly anyone , if if the N.H.S is something to by)

A start of a career that will die very soon unless she wins more younger fans over(unlikely).

Yes, because... She warmed the country's hearts!

4. Stacey is a natural, unspoiled and warm-hearted person which is why the whole country warmed to her.

She was totally unptretentious and didn't expect to win, although she probably would have liked to have won.

To have reached the final stage will have secured a future for her and her little boy. She's a lovely young Mum! She deserves to be successful - I wish her all the Mazel in the world!

No, because... There is no niche gap for her to fill

She sings old songs, genre:classical. She will fill in the middle-aged/old/senile niche market.

Often the people who are a success in X factor, and they are few and far between, are people who fill gap markets in the music industry. Leona Lewis came at a time when there were few power house female singers producing albums in the UK. She was able to fill that niche even in America. Music is taking a direction for R’n’B so Alexandra Burke and JLS were able to fill that gap in the UK. We do not need another slow female singer on the market, there are plenty of plain sounding voices, we do not need anymore.
